In Isaiah 6 we see clearly the effect that the Living Word has on Isaiah. It draws him to God, reveals his own sinfulness, cleanses him with mercy and draws him into a deeper surrender to the purposes of God. So it is with us as we walk closely with Jesus, His word comes alive to us and works in us in a similar way to Isaiah’s story.
