This week we won’t have an audio of the sermon, but a short summary. Chad shares some of the ways God calls him to be salt in his workplace. Chad reminds us of the importance of SEEING people, really seeing them. This is what Jesus did, He saw through the outward realities, into people’s hearts. This comes through especially in His calling of Matthew and Zacchaeus. We can grow in our ability to see people by:
- Praying for those we will meet throughout the day, especially those that may be hard for us to love.
- Extending mercy to those around us, rather than simplistic judgment.
- Investing the time to listen well and asking questions.
- Allowing ourselves to feel what others are feeling.
