We are separated from God not only because of things we often see as “bad”, but also through things we often see as “good.” Jesus reminds us of this through His stinging rebuke to the Pharisees, the religous people of His day (Mat. 23). Allowing Him to search our hearts and fill us with His love are keys to avoiding the trap of the Pharisee.
